2026-6-21 Microreactors for Energy

In the short movie, Hybrid Brad, he and Mable work on a “miniature fusion reactor” for their high school science project. Brad builds it with the help of his alien father, Rex, who is technologically superior. At around the same time that the storyline for the movie was being conceived, the Department of Energy wrote and article on Microreactors which includes this video below.

With war over oil and data centers gobbling up energy demand, rest assured there will be a time when energy production will be more efficient and localized. The Earth still has a long way to go, and once the technologies of the future finally become our mainstream energy infrastructure, our planet can finally heal from the abuses sustained by its children.
